As a Mam of two, exercising safely & effectively pre & post baby is something I’m very passionate about. I don’t think the support we women get during or after pregnancy is up to standard, so it’s important for me to be able to play my part in improving that.
Pregnancy
As well as being an exciting time, pregnancy brings with it many challenges – from morning sickness (or all day sickness!), mood swings, stress and anxiety, and changes in appetite, but exercise & the right support can really help. Unless you have any contraindications the prevailing advice out there is for women to exercise throughout pregnancy, as long as the exercise prescription is appropriate – and that’s where I come in.
Depending on your pre pregnancy exercise routine, where you are in your pregnancy, and how you are feeling, I will create a plan to suit you & your circumstances, adjusting to fit as you move through the trimesters, so if you want to build/maintain strength & aerobic capacity, strengthen your core & pelvic floor, reduce discomfort and help prepare your body for birth then lets talk.
Postnatal
As a new mother, it’s not always easy to find time for yourself but when you do, the main aims of your initial postpartum workouts should be to;
- re-tone the pelvic floor to reduce risk of stress incontinence,
- re-tone abdominal muscles to increase strength and enable them to support the spine,
- correct / regain good posture,
- enhance self confidence & enjoy doing something for yourself.
Despite maybe knowing this, it’s really tempting to either do nothing at all for fear of doing something wrong or jumping straight back in to ‘normal’ exercise. While everyone’s pregnancy, birth and recovery is different, building strong foundations post birth will serve you well whatever you goals, so take your time and do it properly – you deserve to!
Postnatal online coaching offers you;
- the opportunity to explore your postnatal goals, understand why they are important to you and come up with a suitable plan to support that,

- prompts and tools to help you practice self care even when you feel you have no time,

12 weeks of Pre / Postnatal online coaching includes;
- An evolving exercise plan tailored to you and your goals (reviewed each every 4 weeks) – with videos included.
- Prompts and tools to help you embrace where you are on your journey.
- Regular contact via messages / voice notes and a weekly online check-in to help you reflect on the week gone by and set new intentions
- 3 coaching calls to support you further in achieving your goals (one each month)
- homework – these might be journaling prompts, meditations, book recommendations etc
